FR. ERNIE CELEBRATES HIS 15TH YEAR SACERDOTAL ANNIVERSARY

 Fr. Ernie was joined by loving parishioners from his former parishes in Lamao, Limay and San Ramon, Dinalupihan and of course by Pilarians in a Thanksgiving Mass and simple dinner on the occasion of his 15th year anniversary as priest. The church was full with well wishers for the Mass he himself presided with Bishop Soc Villegas delivering the homily. The Bishop acknowledged Fr. Ernie's effort in remaining an ECHO of the Lord Jesus, the High Priest the last 15 years. An echo, the Bishop said can only be Faithful and just a Follower, never goes before what it echoes. In his thanksgiving speech, Fr. Ernie for his part recognized God's gift of the priesthood for himself and for the communities he was and is now assigned. He spoke of ZPG as a personal vision-mission of his priesthood: Zeal, Passion for the Church and being Just.Because of the on-going renovation of  Pilar church's sanctuary as the 2nd Phase of Pilar Parish Church Project Restoration, Fr. Ernie generously donated to the parish all the cash gifts he receieved on his anniversary. With hope and prayers that this example will be an inspiration and example for all Pilarians to emulate.
